During an intensive and condensed postgraduate program in typeface design at Cooper Union, an original typeface was born. Hamre, a soft and rounded serif typeface, drew its inspiration from text faces such as Calluna and Minion Pro.
Intended for body text in books, prose, or correspondence, Hamre is a unique serif typeface as it is both highly legible and professional. Gentle, not harsh. Modern, but timeless. Wide, but worth the imperfect economy. Hamre is a great substitute for Times New Roman.
